////////////////////////////// Maslow was able to give form to these experiences, even if the essence could not be captured by words. They include:
—The entire universe is perceived as an integrated and unified whole.
—Tremendous concentration occurs; figure and ground are less sharply differentiated.
—We become more objective and less human-centric; more desireless and impersonal.
—The peak experience is a self-validating, self-justifying moment that carries its own intrinsic value with it, giving meaning to life itself.
—There are ends to aim for in this world, instead of constant next steps.
—Our perception of Being is more passive and receptive, as well as more humble. We are able to listen and hear better.
—Conflicts and polarities of existence are transcended.
—All fears disappear, including those of death and loss.

/////////////////My confidence in venturing into science lies in my basic belief that as in science so in Buddhism, understanding the nature of reality is pursued by means of critical investigation: if scientific analysis were conclusively to demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the findings of science and abandon those claims.
Other Buddhists, however, such as Stephen Batchelor, argue that Buddhism should be stripped of all its metaphysical baggage and simplified down to its basic philosophical and existential tenets — a suggestion that has given rise to secular Buddhism.

Writer William Saletan notes: "If resistance to life extension is based on the assumption that the extra years would be frail and painful, look out. That resistance will dissolve in the face of contrary evidence. If modern medicine learns how to slow aging, making the average 90-year-old feel as good as a 70-year-old feels today, people will recalibrate. Those who in our time would have preferred to die at 80 might be happy to live to 100."

KIN RECOGNITION ALSO IN PLANTS

/////////////////SELF TALK=Joseph Jordania suggested that talking to oneself can be used to avoid silence. According to him, the ancestors of humans, like many othersocial animals, used contact calls to maintain constant contact with the members of the group,[5] and a signal of danger was communicated through becoming silent and freezing.[6] Because of the human evolutionary history, prolonged silence is perceived as a sign of danger and triggers a feeling of uneasiness and fear. According to Jordania, talking to oneself is only one of the ways to fill in prolonged gaps of silence in humans. Other ways of filling in prolonged silence are hummingwhistling, finger drumming, or having TV, radio or music on all the time.

BANANA IS HERB AND HAS BERRY

////////////////LION FROM AF, TIGER FROM ASIA

//////////////////
The Asiatic lion (Panthera leo persica), also known as the Indian lion, is a lion subspecies that exists as a single isolated population in India's Gujarat State. It is listed as Endangered by IUCN based on the small population size.[1] The lion population has steadily increased in Gir Forest National Park, more than doubling from a low of 180 individuals in 1974 to a level of 411 individuals consisting of 97 adult males, 162 adult females, 75 sub-adults, and 77 cubs as of April 2010.[3]
The Asiatic lion was first described by the Austrian zoologist Johann N. Meyer under the trinomen Felis leo persicus.[4] It is one of the five big cats found in India, apart from Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, snow leopard and clouded leopard.[5] It formerly occurred in Persia, Mesopotamia, Baluchistan, from Sind in the west to Bengal in the east, and from Rampur and Rohilkund in the north to Nerbudda in the south. It differs from the African lion by less inflated auditory bullae, a larger tail tuft and a less developed mane.[6

When it disconnects them from the everyday, they feel bad. The imagination is a double-edged sword. ...[T]he capacity to make something real is not the same as the capacity to make it good or useful. That’s a caveat to bear in mind for any kind of prayerful life."
