thesis in college called “The Oneiric Lens” with the basic conceit that dreaming and waking are similar enough in the brain that the continuous hallucination of our perceptual world makes the brain more like a filter for a field of probability that our consciousness moves within - not by a signal created in the brain so much as receiving it in the qualia of millions of van der Wals electron interactions being affected by this field of probability that is omnipresent and dimensionally manifold- permeating both the before and after of every wave function collapse and leaving the signature of those field intercom the electrobiological interactions within the tubulin proteins that initiate depolarization in every neuron- those suspended states of quantum uncertainty are extended via the glia and together create huge coherent events that comprise what we call consciousness- but those electrical events are really just the meddle in the groove of the phonograph- this field that imbues the anatomy with quantum events is the music… we are each of us a lens of dream
