////////////////Today a newcomer on the intro list asks whether "universe"
and "nature" can really be used interchangeably, suggesting that
nature is the organic living subset of universe. This may be a
useful distinction. To discuss your questions further it might be
helpful to suggest some separate working definitions of cosmic order
and order of nature. I think it easier to talk about whether and how
the order of nature tells us how to live than to talk about the
cosmic order as a whole. I tend to use cosmos and universe
interchangelably. Do you? I'm not sure exactly what I mean
by "cosmic order." I always assume others are talking about the laws
of mathematics and physics when they use that term.

/////////////////////The young student asked the Master: "What is the best way to begin and finish each day?"

The Master replied: "By giving thanks."

"But what if there is nothing to be thankful for," asked the boy.

The master smiled and said: "There is always something to be thankful for."
