MOD EAT DIETWALK ZEN GRDN RAIN

////////////////////////NO MRKT REDUCE DEMAND

//////////////////////Louis Pasteur's comment, to the effect that luck favors the prepared mind.

///////////////////BRMS, BASH AND JNTEL

///////////////////Apotemnophilia' (a neurological disorder wherein sane and rational individuals express a strong desire for the amputation of a healthy limb).

////////////////HAIRLESS NEOTENOUS PRIMATE LOOKING FOR ITS ORIGINS

/////////////////PHANTOM LIMB =Ramachandran's hypothesis is that there is a remapping of the body image in the brain. Areas of the brain that corresponded with a particular limb, say an arm, no longer have anything there to correspond with if the arm is removed. Parts of the brain may take over this latent area, and 'fool' the brain into thinking the limb still exists.

//////////////////Ramachandran describes how a Canadian doctor, Michael Persinger, 'treated' himself by stimulating parts of his temporal lobe and 'experienced God' for the first time in his life!

/////////////////////////..........It may be that the temporal lobe is very active during spiritual activities, just as certain parts of the brain are more active when we do maths or exercise, but there is a danger of thinking of the temporal lobe as 'God's bit', and Ramachandran gets dangerously close to saying this, even calling it the 'G spot'.

///////////////////////////PHANTOM LIMB PHENO EMERGED AFTER AM CIVIL WAR

////////////////////////////.........An observer feels more empathy for someone in pain when that person is in the same social group, according to new research in the July 1 issue of The Journal of Neuroscience. The study shows that perceiving others in pain activates a part of the brain associated with empathy and emotion more if the observer and the observed are the same race. The findings may show that unconscious prejudices against outside groups exist at a basic level.

//////////////////////////////IN GROUP BIAS FOR EMPATHY=The study confirms an in-group bias in empathic feelings, something that has long been known but never before confirmed by neuroimaging technology.

////////////////////////////SOMATOPARAPHRENIA

///////////////////////RK PHENOMENA=1. Subjective Experiences:

(a) Burning sensation all over body
(b) Glow over body

2. Temporary changes:

(a) Increase in the length of coccyx
(b) Feminine changes during sadhana

3. Permanent changes:

(a) Reflex recoil on touching the coin
(b) Reversal of sexual reflexes

4. Altered State of Consciousness:

(a) Visions (b) Bhava (Spiritual Moods) (c) Samadhi (Mystic Introversion)

5. Perfectly normal/healthy general mental and physical state.
