Amazon is speeding toward a point of no return — scientists say if 20% of the forest is lost, it will set off a domino chain that will cause the whole ecosystem to collapse.

18% of the forest is now gone. Local communities are crying out after 3 years of drought. We should be in red alert.

Can an ornament exist as other than gold, [which is its substance]? Separate from oneself (‘ātmā’, one's substantial reality which alone exists), where is the body? An ‘ajñāni’ is one who thinks the body to be oneself. A ‘jñāni’ (a sage), who knows oneself, is one who takes oneself (‘ātmā’) to be oneself. Remain [as ‘ātmā’,].

For many of us who didn’t have the good fortune of being with Maharajji in the physical body, it is the stories that bring us his presence and love. We are always thirsty for the devotees’ memories and stories of him and this book is yet another well of grace to quench our hearts. —TREVOR HALL

If you told a Zen Buddhist or Hindu devotee that you’ve discovered evidence of the possibility that the universe is conscious, they might thank you for pointing out the obvious. But for scientists, whose intractable studies are grounded in materialism and who often refuse to entertain the ethereal or intangible, finding potential evidence of such a concept would be groundbreaking.

The truth is always here and now, yet we tend to overlook it, thinking it's something that needs to be achieved. We chase after an elusive 'there' and forget to appreciate the 'here' that surrounds us. We miss the beauty of the present moment as we always focus on the next step. But the truth is, we are already where we need to be. We just need to open our eyes to see it.

Dealing with Doubt It is often difficult to connect head and heart. You may wake from a dream in which you fully experience Maharajji’s love in your heart, but your mind says, “It was only a dream.” You may read the stories in Miracle of Love or Love Everyone and think, “But they met Baba in person!” You may see Maharajji driving past you in a car, or walking down the road, or standing on the corner and discount it as not possible. You may have looked at his picture and burst into tears, your heart overflowing, and yet doubted his presence.

You will never intellectually understand what you are about to read, but something remarkable will happen if you give up the need to “figure out” the Truth you will find in this book — you will discover that the Truth found in this book figured you out a very long time ago. Can you imagine anything better? Actually, you can not, and that is the point. You are about to enter into an experience unlike anything you have ever known before, yet the most intimate you will ever enjoy
