MY SECRET HIDE AWAY
The bridge became a haven, I’d visit every day, It was a special treat, my secret hide away.
Far from the noise and city lights,
A place so quiet I could see things right.
A sudden change developed,
That brought me hope one day,
Words came flowing though my heart, From another place, I’d say.
These words came from the Master, “Leave the world outside.”
Along with that HE told me,
“You will never die.”
I sat there locked in wonder,
The kind you can’t describe.
The heavens opened loud with thunder, That broke the ego deep inside.
Now I feel such joy,
On the bridge between heaven and earth.
