Once upon a time, a man discovered the infinite fountain of joy that exists in the heart.
He loved to sit quietly.
People could feel his joy, and they wanted it.
So they sat, just like him.
For good measure, they developed a seven-point plan for sitting quietly.
He shook his head gently, and asked them:
Who are you, really?
Intrigued, they developed a seven-point plan for asking themselves who they are.
Of course, they already had the joy they were looking for!
They were making the simple mistake of overlooking it, then identifying with the tendency to overlook it while seeking it elsewhere.
Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is looking for it outside when it is inside.
