Chess. Chinku

Since chess is reducible fundamentally to a finite set of discrete elements (squares, pieces, fixed rules), any chess game can be considered merely another permutation of all possible chess-games. The so-called ‘Shannon number’ (Claude Shannon’s estimate), puts the totality of possible chess games (the ‘game-tree complexity’ of chess) at 10120.
