Buddhists believe the causes and conditions we gather that have
neither been subject to obstacles nor ripened into a result do not
dissipate on their own. Whether or not the intention behind
everything you have ever thought, said or done was good, kind and
virtuous, or bad, unkind and vindictive, if that karma has not been
purified, you will reap the results. This, of course, could be
interpreted as a kind of judgment. But it will be you who judges your
own motivation and actions, not an external entity.
