Resistance is always on behalf of the person.
It reinforces personal identity, which is the apparent or illusory self.
Whereas, nonresistance is the ever-present "perspective" or "state" of the true Self.
What seems to us as the practice of nonresistance is actually the nature of the true Self.
When we practice nonresistance, we are BEING the Self, the nature of which is total allowance
