I HATE exercising. I tried a lot of different types, but hated them all so gave up years ago. I’m simply not athletic/physical! The only thing I do is Japanese “Taiso” every morning…6 minutes. I’m 72. My more active friends seem to get more injuries doing their activities (especially pickle ball, running, biking, etc.), so despite the fact that I’m basically a couch/computer potato, I’m in much better condition than many active seniors. Although daily I get an average of just 3500 to 5000 steps, I can go to Japan and walk 20,000 without a problem.
I take a lot of supplements and credit that to my relatively good health. Every time I take a long (mileage wise) trip, either to the east or west, I never get jet-lagged. Pretty amazing. Although I have osteoporosis, I fell twice in the past year (once flat on my back, then flat on my face) and amazingly I was fine. *knocking wood* I try to be very mindful when walking.
