“The world is illusion
Only Brahman (The Divinity) is real
The World is Brahman”
— Adi Shankara
Meaning, Divinity is everyone. All of this is the Divinity. That which (seems to) have been born and dies, and that which is never born. That which is conscious and that which is not. That which is ‘enlightened’ and that which is not.
That’s The Divinity. All of it. And, the empty “space” All of It exists in. There’s your Divinity. Which means there no separation… never has been. Which means it’s All already enlightened.
Nowhere to go, Nothing to attain. No ‘separate’ ones to attain it.

Cool ones?
Serendipity is a skill.
You already have most of what you need.
You have less control than you think. This has set me free.
Support often comes from unexpected places.
Many things that are true are also true if you state their opposite.
Miracles happen all the time.
It's possible to make all the wrong decisions and arrive at a positive outcome.
Most huge decisions are not that huge.
Whenever someone accuses you of being selfish, it's because you are focused on you rather than on them. Ergo, only selfish people throw that word around.
Most of us believe we are the misfit.
We’re supposed to balance effort and ease.
We create most of our suffering.
A lot of what we worry about does not happen.
Many things that burn our energy down are equivalent to doing nothing. This means leaving them behind has no consequences.
Many things that feel like doing nothing are indispensable and fix the problem.
Thinking seldom helps.
Everything is fleeting. Remember this the next time something is making you miserable.
Most of the secrets you keep because they mortify you are universal. How ironic. We are all lonely.
Love is everywhere but also love is precious. If you are loved, you have everything.

Inquiring Into Our Feelings
It is a humbling thing to see that our feelings are just conditioned responses, and it can make us feel like there is nothing to trust. But this is why inquiry is critical. We have to want to know from where our feelings are arising if we want to be free to own our feelings.
Fortunately, since feelings are happening all the time, any moment is a great moment to be curious about what is arising.
Freed from Your Emotional Conditioning
And I am talking more about emotions than physical imbalances. For example, you can be angry because you're hungry, or hangry. ;)
But even then with a little inquiry, you can figure out that you are hungry and not angry. So you eat an apple, resolve the hunger, and the anger goes away. This saves you from causing arguments and conflicts with yourself and others. In this way, you can experience how the benefits of your work is often in something that did not happen.
So investigating your emotions is a way out of the trap of having your subconscious ego automatically decide how you feel and basically determine how you will act in countless situations throughout your whole life.

"I’ve come to believe that this is the defining characteristic of my generation: keeping our options open. The Polish philosopher Zygmunt Bauman has a great phrase for what I’m talking about: liquid modernity. We never want to commit to any one identity or place or community ... so we remain like liquid, in a state that can adapt to fit any future shape. And it’s not just us—the world around us remains like liquid, too. We can’t rely on any job or role, idea or cause, group or institution to stick around in the same form for long—and they can’t rely on us to do so, either. That’s liquid modernity: It’s Infinite Browsing Mode, but for everything in our lives."

KARMIC FORMS OF COSMIC ACCOUNTANCY
Because impermanence is the way of nature, of Dharma.
It’s called “entropy” in physics. It’s the only “thing” that’s stable. The increase of entropy is even the definition of time. No increase of entropy (a measure of disorder), no time…
Since it is the way of the mind to attach to certain concepts the mind creates of these natural phenomena, in order to try to create permanence, we are bound to suffer because of it.
Nothing lasts…

RAGE THEN INNER PEACE
Make it your goal.
When you get upset, remind yourself inner peace is your goal.
Meditate or pray to familiarize your mind with peace.
This is what you’re looking for.
When you leave this state for any reason, return immediately.
This is your intention.
When you lose it, start again.
Epictetus wrote a handbook on how to do this - you can find it here.
Byron Katie published a book of pointers that I find particularly helpful - you can find it here.
Your biggest challenge will be loss of motivation.
Caring who wins, getting annoyed, and worrying all exert a strong pull.
You’ll be tempted to decide inner peace is pointless and reactive emotions are normal and healthy.
No one can tell you which thought is the right one to believe.
I think of it like two paths:
One path is the external one and we’ve been exploring that.
But there’s another path that branches off at the very start of the first.
You’ve never been down there, but in a moment of silence you remember it exists.
Peace is like a door, and you won’t know where it leads until you open it and walk through.

The quickest way to find yourself desolate, dispossessed, lost, is moving through life attempting to please everyone.
This is because it cannot be done, so you will repeatedly come out empty. But also because in attempting it, in trying to give everyone what they want, you neglect to identify what you want.
This is how people so often find themselves in the wrong life.
You want good advice in one sentence? Get comfortable letting others down.
Disappoint people. Find yourself.

When we try to recall something, we reach for the ‘gist’ of it first and then try to fill in the details.
The brain works in reverse to retrieve memories, research shows.
When we try to recall something, we reach for the gist of it first and then try to fill in the details.
This is the opposite to the way we lay down memories.

"The interpreter in the left brain has a preference for consistency and little tolerance for ambiguity. There are right and wrong answers and things need to be predictable and orderly. Paradox is a turn-off to interpreter. Left brain is so based in categories, it categorizes everything as right and wrong, good and bad. Categories divide and the interpreter has divided itself into ‘How i am’ and ‘how i want to be' " “The left-brain interpreter is categorical, it creates division outwardly and inwardly, so let it do its job, let it do its thing. Here we might ask why you want to go beyond your ego and more importantly, is it your ego that wants this? Because if it is, it can't. Going beyond the ego is nothing like what the ego thinks it is, how could it be? When the ego tries to drag itself beyond itself it may bring along a little anxiety and conflict, so remember that all scary

Spiritual enlightenment promises to end suffering by ending this hedonic treadmill. It leads one to resolve all the internal conflicts and to feel one with everything. It removes the idea that there is a separate entity inside which has to enhance itself for fulfillment. The left brain may still continue to categorize things, but they are not solidified in our consciousness and urge us to protect those solidified entities.

OSHO
As you start witnessing your thoughts and be alert each and every moment, you will start noticing gaps between thoughts. The gaps will get bigger and you will soon be able to witness your unconscious patterns, emotions, moods and subtle sensations. Gradually your thoughts will reduce and you will come to a point where there is absolute stillness. Then suddenly, when you are least expecting anything to happen, enlightenment happens. Then you realize you are what you have been searching for. Your true nature which is beyond space and time is revealed to you which leaves you absolutely blissful and content
