SJD QRA
Meditation has two states - effort and effortless.
Effort is of mind (conscious mind) and effortlessness is of no-mind.
Effort is witnessing and effortlessness is gaps between efforts.
Meditation happens in gaps and that is non-doing.
When one meditates for years then witnessing removes object part of mind - object becomes irrelevant and subject remains as efforts and in gaps subject-object both dissolve that is non-doing and that is meditation.
With time these gaps become longer and longer. One fine day one of the gaps become permanent and that is what we know as self-realization or trueself-realization.
Mind is false-self - given by the family/society/religion and people around you.
Soul is true-self - given by the God/existence.

TA QRA
No enlightened persons.
No karma.
No ‘past lives.’
No becoming.
No ‘work.’
All a dream. A dream of ‘separateness,’ duality, which has never existed.
There is only the Whole, the Singularity. There is only Being.
There are no actual, substantial ‘separate entities.’
So ”who” is to have this ‘karma?
”Who” is to have these ‘past’ or ‘future’ lives?
”Who” is to have any lives at all?
”Who” is to ‘choose’ to generate “their own” effort to attain something called freedom or enlightenment?
There is no one. So, there is nothing to attain.
Let go of all these old, tired superstitions and misdirections.
“You” will never become enlightened, become free, or end any cycle of births or karma.
Through any work, effort, path or practices the dream-“you” undertakes.
Yes, even that one. Endless meditation, Buddha-dharma, gurus, shaktipat, kundalini, Advaita, jnana, yoga, self-inquiry, bhakta. Yes, even that one.
Because there is no one. There is only Being. And “you” are already That.

Why did Shri Lord Krishna eat peanuts for 18 days in the war of Mahabharata?
The actual story began when the king of Udupi came to know about the battle and he came to kurukshetra with his troops. He met with Lord Krishna and said I came here to fight but my heart/mind was not allowing me to take part and I did not want to favour any side. Still, I have one proposal and I request you to accept my proposal and blessed me.
Here is the conversation that took place between lord Krishna and king of Udupi
Lord Krishna asked : what is your proposal??
King of Udupi said : I want to prepare foods for all the veer and mahaveer participating in the battle.
Lord Krishna accepted his proposal and allowed him for the arrangement of food.
King of Udupi started making foods and everyday when all the Yodha took their food, whatever he cooked, that food finished completely at the end of day. It means there was no wastage of food, and also it was available in plenty for everyone.
The war ended in 18 days and Pandava won the war. Everyone became surprised when they came to know about a proper food planning.
Post the possession of crown, one day Hastinapur Naresh maharaj Yudhishthira asked to the king of Udupi about the logic behind this.
The king of Udupi asked: Hey maharaj, could you please tell me to whom you would give credit to your win.
Maharaj Yudhishthir replied : Lord Krishna
Then king of Udupi replied: Lord Krishna is also responsible for my karma as well. Everyday he ate peanuts in the night and on the next day when we entered inside his tent, we collected all the lamella (peanuts chilka) and counted. We multiply the counted lamella with 1000 and we would come to know the number of deaths going to happen on that day and we prepared our foods accordingly.
As we know, Lord Krishna knew everything and he knew the result of Mahabharata as well. He was eating peanuts to help the Udupi Naresh in his food making.
This is the story which explain why did lord Krishna eat peanuts everyday.

Once upon a time there was a good discussion between the two famous Mahabharata - Krishna and Karna...
Karna asked Krishna...
My mother left me when I was born.
Taking an unscientific birth is my fault..no..
Dronacharya refused to teach me because I was not a Kshatriya.
Parasurama taught me education but cursed me to forget all that education until I was recognized as a Kshatriya..
If by mistake my arrow hits a cow, the owner of that cow blames me even though it is not my fault..
Draupadi's Swayamvaram failed me..
The reason behind Kuntima coming today and telling me the truth that I am her son is just to protect her other sons..
It is because of the mercy of Duryodhana that I have attained anything like myself.
Then Karna said that it would be a mistake for me to be on Duryodhana's side..
Krishna replied to Karna...
I was born in prison..
Before I was born my death was waiting for me..
I was separated from my parents on the night of my birth.
As a child you grew up amidst the sounds of swords, chariots, arrows and horses.
I am in the cowshed amidst the smell of dung...
In my childhood there were many attacks on me to kill me..I was not even old enough to walk..but I faced many attacks..
People around me used to accuse me of being the cause of their problems.
I have neither army nor education..
At the age when all of you have completed your education and are getting compliments from your teachers for your talents, I didn't even want to study.
I started my studies at Sandipuni Rushi when I was sixteen.
You could marry your favorite girl..
I couldn't get the girl of my choice..and those who married me..they wanted me and I saved them from demons..
I had to take all my Goku away from Yamunavaddu to save it from Jarasandhu's clutches..
Then I got the bad name of running away as a coward..
Well, if Duryodhana wins this war, you will get a good name...
If Dharma Raja wins, I will get nothing...Moreover, everyone will blame me as the cause of this war and the problems related to the war...
Remember one thing Karna..
Everyone has problems and challenges in life.
Life is not a smooth path for anyone..everything is not perfect all the time..
Both Duryodhana and Yudhisthira have tasted the blows of life.
Your mind knows what is right and what is right.
No matter how much injustice is done to us..
How many failures have we had..
Even if we don't get what we deserve...
How we behave at those times is our personality...that's what matters most..
Krishna taught Karna that we should not consider the reasons that we have endured the ups and downs of life or that we have had bad experiences as a license to travel on the wrong path…

once during ramayana , when rama killed ravana and was going to ayodhya , shree rama looked at pavan putra and told him that , after some days i have to leave this body and go to vaikuntha , you also come with me :)
then hanuman ji replied , prabhu if you are there in vaikuntha , i will come with you…then sree rama told , i will be there in vaikuntha but with shanka , chakra , gadha , padma in my chathurbhuja roop , with mata seeta ( lakshmi ) on my left and will sleep on adi shesha… then hanumanji told he wont come because he wants only rama….then shree raama told what will you do then ? pavan putra told that he will stay on earth as long as rama naama will be heard , and will stay with people who chant rama nama
from this incident we can understand that hanuman ji likes sri hari in his two handed form with a bow only !!
so , he will definitely help kalki bhagwan but will ask shri kalki ji to show his rama form and kalki dev will surely do it…

About a month ago, I was lying in bed. It was morning but I hadn't slept well the previous night and just laying there I thought of my present circumstances. Ridden in constant pain from a DV incident, I had sold my house because I knew it was the only way to escape with my life. Also, I had realized that death would be my only escape from this situation too.
Suddenly, a warm, comforting feeling came over me. The pain was gone and my spirits lifted as though I were floating on air. I opened my eyes to see a young man standing in the door way. He was smiling and held out his hand for me to take it. As I reached for it my roommate jostled me awake. Telling me I had stopped breathing and was grey!
He asked me later what I was reaching for. My oldest Son, who had died in my womb 37 years ago had come to escort me home.

I am posting Swami Vivekananda’s opinion on why Buddhism faded away from India.
Vivekananda admired Buddha as a man. He did not accept many of Buddha's doctrines. Vivekananda was specially critical of the monastery building spree which in his view weakened the nation.
Vivekananda said, 'I do not believe many of his doctrines; of course, I do not. I believe that the Vedantism of the old Hindus is much more thoughtful, is a grander philosophy of life. ...............By and by, there arose huge temples and all the paraphernalia. The use of images was unknown before then. I say they were the first to use images. There are images of Buddha and all the saints, sitting about and praying. All this paraphernalia went on multiplying with this organisation. Then these monasteries became rich. The real cause of the downfall is here. Monasticism is all very good for a few; but when you preach it in such a fashion that every man and woman who has a mind immediately gives up social life, when you find over the whole of India monasteries, some containing a hundred thousand monks, sometimes twenty thousand monks in one building - huge gigantic buildings, these monasteries, scattered all over India and, of course, centres of learning, and all that - who were left to procreate progeny, to continue the race? Only the weaklings. All the strong and vigorous minds went out. And then came national decay by the sheer loss of vigor'.
