In brief, the speed at which your vacation will pass depends on the type of holiday you go on. When that vacation is over and you try to recall it after a few weeks, it will seem long if it was adventurous or filled with novel experiences. Whereas, your vacation will seem short in retrospect, if it was spent in some familiar tourist resort, and it will later be recalled as if it was over in a flash.
