DTR MHC X TLC CBT

How does an enlightened being think without mind because after enlightenment, thinking stops and only consciousness remains?

Enlightenment does not end all thinking, just compulsive thinking, self-reflective thinking, and other useless thinking (which is 90% of thinking).

After enlightenment, it is still possible to think and plan what you will need to bring on a trip or buy at a grocery store. But truthfully thinking is not needed most of the time. When given two options, you only need to think about it if you don’t know what to do…because if you knew what to do, you don’t need to think about it…you just do it. Most action arises from inner understanding after enlightenment…not by mental deliberation (i.e. thinking).

Mind is the term we use for the unending stream of thoughts…but when thoughts cease there is no mind. So the mind doesn’t really exist…it is just a term for the unending stream of thoughts. This does not mean it is impossible to have thoughts or think after enlightenment.

So true, and the same person can jump from one to the other over the course of their life.

I flip back and forth. Right now, I am medication free, successfully holding down employment and doing quite well in all, aspects of my life. 12 months ago, I was unable to leave my home, could barely maintain a conversation, and ended up hospitalised for suicidal ideation. I flip between these 2 extremes constantly, and have for the last 20 years.

Osho was a very evolved soul who had already been awakened in several of his previous lives - but not fully enlightened until his last birth.

As far as Osho’s past lives are concerned, there are a few instances where he mentions his previous lives, some of his last incarnations appear to have been on the Buddhist path. On one occasion he mentioned his last previous life , was 700 years ago in Tibet.

And although not a Buddhist , Osho has been recognised as enlightened by several Tibetan Lama’s.

One interesting story is related in the end of an early Osho book ‘The Silent Explosion’ , an Indian sannyasin from Bombay, Govind Siddarth , whilst on a trip to Darjeeling with his wife and two daughters in June 1972, visited the Tibetan monastery of His Holiness the 16th Lama Karmapa of the Kargyupta, (or Red Hat) sect.

Lama Karmapa had fled from Tibet to India after the Chinese invasion.

The monastery was at Rumtek, which is near Gangtok—the capital of Sikkim. (It is named “Pal Karmapa Densa Shed Drup Chho Khorling”, in the Tibetan language).

Govind Siddarth met the Lama Karmapa and showed him his mala with the photo of Osho.

From Govind Siddarths own account, Lama Karmapa told him that “He (Osho) - is the greatest incarnation after Buddha in India. He is a living Buddha.”

‘Only a few people realize who Bhagwan is. His words will remain there in the Akashic records, so that they will also be helpful to people in the future.’

The Karmapa went on to say that Osho had been with Siddharth in past lives. “If you want to see one of Bhagwan’s previous incarnations — who he was in Tibet — you can go to Tibet and see his golden statue there which is preserved in the Hall of Incarnations.”

He continued to chat about Osho and his work, “My blessings are always there, and I know that whatever we are not going to be able to do to help others, Bhagwan will do.”

He explained that one of the main aims of the Lamas in coming to India was to preserve their occult sciences. Osho from his side also confirmed this in his Kashmir lectures given in 1969. He said then, “The Dalai Lama has not escaped only to save himself, but to save the Tibetan religion, the meditation secrets and the occult sciences”

The Karmapa went on to explain, “We have gotten these things from India in the past, and now we want to return them back. Now we have come to know that here is an incarnation, (Osho) , who is doing our job in India and the world, and we are very happy about it. The world will know him, but only a few people will realize what he actually is. He will be the only person who can guide properly, who can be a World Teacher in this age, and he had taken birth only for this purpose.”

There are some who are sceptical of this story - mainly because Lama Ole Nydahl, a Westerner who spent time with the 16 Lama Karmapa , claimed that he had asked Lama Karmapa about Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and that the Lama reportedly told him that ‘he had never heard of him.’

However , whatever the truth may be , whether some misunderstanding or else , their are several other Osho sannyasins who definitely did spend time with the 16th Lama Karmapa , and have reported that he spoke very enthusiastically about Osho ( then known as Bhagwan) .

Prem Purushottama met the Lama Karmapa in Calcutta at the Oberoi Hotel.

from Purushottama’s account :

“The Karmapa’s room was a corner one and Ben and I approached from one hallway and as we neared we could see an Indian sannyasin couple in orange approaching from the other direction. He was dressed in a lunghi and had a very long beard and long hair. She was dressed in an orange sari. They were Osho sannyasins and ran the Calcutta Osho center.

We all entered the room and were shown to sit just in front of the Karmapa who was seated on a sofa. He was immensely childlike, full of love and innocence and looked to be always on the verge of a good chuckle. He sat stroking the beard of the Indian sannyasin who was sitting slightly to his right. This in itself would have been enough to let me know what he thought of Osho but it was not all. Sitting next to him on the sofa he had propped up a copy of Sannyas Magazine (published at the ashram) with a photo of Osho beaming out on to our group.

At that point it did not matter whether the story that I had read was factual or not, I could see the connection between the Karmapa and Osho. That space out of which the Karmapa and the photo of Osho appeared was One.

The ceremony was penetrating; to be in a room with Tibetan horns blaring is in itself a transformative experience. After the ceremony the few westerners that were there, I think maybe we were five, were invited into a side room where the Karmapa gave a teaching on Tilopa’s Song of Mahamudra. This is the most important text of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Osho had himself given a discourse series published as Tantra: the Supreme Understanding on this text, and I was traveling with the book.

Because the Karmapa didn’t speak English he had a translator, but his translator told us he was having a very difficult time translating this teaching into English. He was frustrated but the Karmapa was understanding and compassionate. This experience highlighted for me one of the advantages of having a teacher who spoke English. Osho’s words did not need to be translated and we were able to hear them directly without a filter.”

Prem Purushottama ‘‘From Lama’s to Lemurs” , p. 41 ) [1]

Long time American sannyasin Swami Krishna Prem , researcher of the outrageous jokes that Osho used to tell in his discourses , also met the Lama Karmapa while he was staying in the U.S.

“Also staying at the home of (actor) James Coburn was non other than the Karmapa Lama, who was the lama that I first went to India to meet when I bumped into Osho by accident…
…I gave him driving instructions how to get to Geetam Rajneesh Ashram….
…a red ferrari…
…He loved a fast car…”

from Swami Krishna Prem ‘GeeYouAreYou’ (G.U.RU) . [2]

James Rudolph Murley,

had spent time with several Tibetan lama’s , ( pre Osho sannyas ), including the 16th Lama Karmapa , who was staying around the L.A. area around 1983, who advised him to go and visit Osho who was then at Rajneeshpuram , Oregon . James Murley took sannyas initiation at Rajneeshpuram and became Swami Shantam Dheeraj . [3]

Dheeraj developed / rediscovered and ran the popular Osho Tibetan Pulsing Healing[4] system in India during Poona Two/three period. He also met the H.H The Dalai Lama, the Tibetan Spiritual Leader and the highest authority in Tibetan Buddhism , on several occasions.

The Dalai Lama visiting the Osho Commune International (now known as the Osho International Meditation Resort) in 1995. Swami Shantam Dheeraj is second from left.

Shantam Dheeraj left his body in 1998 , but the Osho Tibetan Pulsing continues in various parts of the world.

The Dalai Lama himself , stated that:

“Osho is an enlightened master who is working with all possibilities to help humanity overcome a difficult phase in developing consciousness." [5] (1983)

He has also met Osho sannyasins many times , and reportedly told another sannyasin , whilst Osho was still embodied, that “You are fortunate - you are at the Source.”

Shantam Dheeraj left his body in 1998 , but the Osho Tibetan Pulsing continues in various parts of the world.

And there are also other sannyasins who have been involved in esoteric work in connection with Tibetan Lama’s , who also recognise Osho , such as the Osho Bardo.

It depends on you.

We have this human concept of rules and regulations - that “the soul takes this many days/hours to travel” and “this many days is what it takes to incarnate again” or “if we behave, we will go to this place, if we don’t we won’t.” It’s what humans do - box and open, box and open, store more boxes, argue about boxes, go to war over boxes.

What the research shows - and by research I’m referring to the thousands of clinical case studies from Dr. Wambach, Dr. Weiss, the thousands of reports from Michael Newton and the Newton Institute - that we plan our journeys. So that would include people “opting out” or saying “I’m not ready to go back” or “I’m having too much fun on the flipside to go back and be bothered with incarnating.” It’s what people report consistently - they can choose to opt out, or defer a lesson.

So then we have to figure out what time means to folks on the flipside. In terms of the research (speaking to 100s of people no longer on the planet via a number of methods, including hypnotherapy, mediumship or meditation) people claim that we bring a portion of our conscious energy to the planet, and the rest stays home. When the curtain falls - we return home. “25 years on the planet feels like five to ten minutes back here.” That’s reported consistently. So if someone doesn’t return to the stage for 250 years, that still feels like 100 minutes to the person offstage. (a few hours ago.)

But how do people plan their journeys? They do it in concert with guides, teachers, classmates, council members - everyone weighs in. No one “comes alone” and “leaves alone.” We’ve been doing this for a long time now, and all the key players know about the play. The brain has filters that block this information for “survival” but now that we’re poisoning the theater, destroying the stage, the “survival” is relative to our realizing that we need to leave behind fresh water, air and earth not only for our children, but our own possible return.

And possible is also operative - as 35% of the reports from the Newton Institute include memories of lifetimes “off planet.” We don’t have to return here - but I know quite a few people who like it here, like coming here and would like to be able to breathe upon returning.

Focus on “birth.” We spend time talking about “reincarnation” when we haven’t got a handle on incarnation yet. Focus on incarnation. How does it work? At what point in time does the conscious energy enter the fetus?

In terms of data, in the 2750 clinical case studies from Dr. Wambach, she never had a report “prior to six months.” That is - the conscious energy, the portion brought to a lifetime, didn’t enter the womb of the mother until six months.

In Michael Newton’s interview for “Flipside” he said that in his 7000 cases, he never had anyone report “entering the fetus” until the 4th month. (The first trimester.) That’s not opinion - theory - or belief. It’s data. It’s what is reported. And I’m reporting it as well.

So when one examines the process of “birth” - of how conscious energy chooses a lifetime, chooses parents, chooses the path or journey and then chooses the vehicle to drive around the planet in - and when they actually jump into the driver’s seat - that needs to be examined before we start discussing why anyone might want to return.

I did this once. It was an exercise at a drama camp I did. We were randomly paired up and had to stare into each other’s eyes for 10+ mintutes, just reciting our lines.

I was paired up with a boy I had never spoken to before. It was awkward at first, a lot of giggling and looking away. He told me I have pretty eyes. Eventually, we did the exercise. After a while, it stopped feeling awkward and just felt calm and natural. He had kind eyes that I felt very at ease looking into.

After that, we had a bond for the rest of the camp. Even though we had never spoken before that exercise, we laughed and talked like old friends. On the very last day, after our final performance, the group was saying our goodbyes, and he picked me up and gave me a giant hug!

I never spoke to him after that though. I didn’t get his name or any contact information.

So in my experience? Staring into someone’s eyes for a period of time creates trust and some sort of bond.

I am not a Buddhist or Hindu scholar, my views are based on past life regression sessions and taking my clients through different levels of spiritual reality between human lives.

“Liberation from rebirth” in HUMAN LIVES can be achieved by finishing all human life lessons for the souls who are enrolled in the Earth School of Duality. These are souls who came straight to Earth after the creation of their souls, or souls which got “stuck” on Earth - coming here on a mission or for learning or adventure, but creating negative karma and dropping their vibration - and they could not leave the Earth Sphere and had to evolve on Earth, like the rest of Earthlings. I also had clients who were sent to Earth as punishment for misdeeds in higher dimensional star races or higher dimensional beings who were immortal deities - but they wanted to experience human suffering and achieve enlightenment. From what I see in sessions - it takes about 100–120 human lives MINIMUM to finish all the curriculum and be able to graduate from the Earth School. (this is the approximate number, I had clients with hundreds and thousands of human lives - but they usually do not have to reincarnate, they choose to do so to help others, or for an adventure as they like the dangers and risks of human lives)

However, liberation from rebirth on Earth - does not mean the end of reincarnation or full release of ego or individual self-awareness. Souls can go to other planets and worlds, they can have experiences on semi-physical worlds with much lighter energy and no physical birth or death, just transformation of energy, the Multiverse is unlimited and souls can have all kinds of experiences on many worlds and vibrational levels. They can also come back to Earth as teachers and healers to help humanity.

A soul can also refuse to reincarnate and stay in 5D Afterlife - it takes much longer to evolve there, as there are no risks or moral choices, but if a soul was severely traumatized in human lives - it can refuse to take on bodies anymore, and only work and evolve in higher dimensions.

Souls of Starseeds who came to Earth on a mission -just for this life or for several lives - can leave this planet at any time, unless they created very negative karma and got stuck on Earth. They are ‘foreign specialists” and not students on Earth.

In the end of the soul’s evolution it can re-unite with the Source and lose all individuality and energetic boundaries. I do not know much about this, to my understanding the soul has to be extremely high level and it does not happen after human lives - but in much higher dimensions.
