Shiva. Shakti

"Shivaite" or "Shāktist"?
____________________________________________

Metaphysically, Shaivism and Shāktism arose from the same root. The ontological position of both schools is the same. Shiva is Shiva and Shakti in one person. In fact, the Primary Reality, which is called Shiva or Shakti, is Consciousness (chiti, or samvit ).

This Consciousness is comprehended as an active force, and this activity (dynamism) of Consciousness is called Shakti. So, the Essence is one, regardless of the name - Shiva or Shakti. By analogy, we can see flowing water as water, and we can also see it as a flow , that is, the flow of water. Similarly, Consciousness can manifest as Shiva (jnana), or as an active force, Shakti (kriya).Shiva and Shakti are two aspects of the same Reality.

The only difference between Shaivism and Shaktism is in the emphasis. Just as one sees flowing water as water and another sees it as a current or stream, so Shaiva sees Reality as Shiva and Shakta as Shakti. There is also a slight difference in the form of worship. Shakta reveres God as Mother in the personified form of Durga or Kali. Shaiva can worship God in the personified form of Shankara on Mount Kailash along with his consort Parvati.

But these are all symbols. They may differ, but this does not mean a philosophical difference, since they describe the same Reality. The difference in emphasis cannot lead to any significant philosophical difference, since the general position remains unchanged. Shaiva does not say that Reality is not Shakti, Shakta cannot say that Reality is not Shiva.

Praeceptum 114

HOW TO KNOW GOD

To know God is to love him. Knowledge of God must precede the ability to love Him. At least, we must have some little conception of what He really is. We are told, "He is Love," but we only know human love; how then can we conceive of that wondrous love that makes all mankind free. You know the taste of an orange, and you have only to think of oranges which you have tasted in the past in order to recall that taste clearly. Can you think of God with a similarly clear conception? The answer is: "No."

Wood, stone, animals - all things are but different manifestations of God with varying rates of vibration. Our own feelings may be an expression of God, but they are not God. The wave may be a manifestation of the ocean, but the wave cannot be called the ocean. Is electricity God then? No, for we cannot switch Him on and off. He is ever-burning Cosmic Spirit.

Sage Patanjali says: "His Voice is Pranava or OM". The Bible says: "The Word was God." What is the Word? Do you really know any Supreme Being? Have you seen Him? Do you not believe about Him only what you have been told from earliest childhood? Some people say: "He is Omnipresent." Yet space alone is not God. In all of space we do not see any one Intelligence. When you move through space, space does not talk to you. Space is the thing which you are in. Space does not mean "intelligence."

When my Master asked me, "What is God?" I said: "God is Spirit." When he asked: "Then, what is Spirit?" I answered: "Spirit is Infinite Intelligence." "Yes," he said, "but Infinite Intelligence is God, so you see you are talking and reasoning in circles, that that way you will never get anywhere." Substituting different names for God does not explain Him.

In the same way, when you are asked what water is, you say: "It is H20 or aqua, or pani, or jal," and try to explain what water is. If you really know what God is, then you can explain Him satisfactorily to a new inquirer. But when you try to analyze or explain God without knowing Him, you only bring your ideas about God to the fore. What is God? That was one of the questions I thought I was sure of, until I found that I could not make a satisfactory explanation. But from my Master's explanation I really learned about God, and found Him for myself. God has been a reality to me ever since.

K Abhaya getting child through the wonderful blessing kripa of Bhagawan ParaBrahma ShyamaCharan Lahiri Mahashay-
It's a beautiful story ..😍😇❤
We are reading this story now.
Abhaya and her husband were very devoted devotees of Bhagawan ShyamaCharan. Abhaya’s husband is a very famous Educationist and a famous advocate in Benares.
But they were not having any children. Means she's delivering children. But all are dying immediately. No child of them was living, unfortunately, after birth.

One day, Abhaya pleaded her GuruBhagawan Sri Lahiri Mahashay, to bestow upon her one child, who would survive, without dying away, like her previous children...!!!
Sri Bhagawan was deeply in Dhyanavastha.
Abhaya thought, GuruBhagawan could not listen to her prayers. She again pleaded Bhagawan with pious and sorrow filled voice....!!!
Sri ShyamaCharan opened His eyes. He looked at her with merciful eyes. “Look Abhaya, you will get a girl child, in the first quarter of the night". But you should have to do one thing, should not ommit this thing.p!!!
Abhaya agreed to do whatever Sri Bhagawan says.
Remember Abhaya in the room of child birth, a diya an oil lamp should be lighted, before the birth of the child. That diya lamp should remain lighted till the sunrise in the morning."
"No mistake should be done in this. Otherwise your child will not survive."

Abhaya agreed to follow this strictly. The time has arrived, she delivered a girl child as promised by her Bhagawan GuruDeva. As was promised before her Bhagawan GuruDeva, a diya was lighted in the delivery room (labor room).
But after the girl child birth, unknowingly, the new mother abhaya and midwife both had fallen into sleep, as they were very much tired. ...!!!
And here in the oil lampp, in diya, oil was getting finished, so the diya lamp is about to get extinguished..!!.
Then suddenly a big miracle happened...!!!
The door of the labor room or deliveryp, got opened suddenly, with a Big Bang...!!!

Abhaya woke up at this sound, and saw her GuruDeva’s merciful physical form standing there with physical body, with divine light around Him..!!!!!🙌🏼✋🏼🙄

She woke up shockingly, pranaming Bhagawan ShyamaCharan her pran Bhagawan...!!
ShyamaCharan pointed at the lamp...
“look at Diya Abhaya, oil is not there, Diya is about to extinguish...”
She got up immediately from bed and pour oil into the lamp.
Her eyes were filled with tears of gratitude and devotion, at the cause less and boundless protective love of her Bhagawan parabrahma Guru..🙏🙏🙏🙏

Bhagawan ShyamaCharan’s Form immediately and slowly disappeared, after she poured oilin the diya.
Abhaya after recovering from this, went for darshan of Bhagawan ParaBrahma ShyamaCharan...!!!!
She mentioned this incident with extremely devoted voice, .....filled with awe for Bhagawan ShyamaCharan Lahiri Mahashay...

ShyamaCharan Bhagawan smiled at her blessedly, and said.. "carelessness, negligence and neglecting duties is you people’s nature. 🙃🤨..!!!!
But never to neglect Bhagawan’s words, so lightly and easily. 🤚
Because they are of high and profound depth filled words...!!!!

Abhaya silently prostrated before Bhagawan and touched His lotus feet with deepest devotion..🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

K

There is a miraculous story behind this photograph of Shri ParaBrahma Bhagawan Yogiraj shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashay..!!!
This is the only photograph of Him, which was taken with great many pleadings from His disciples.

Since many years Sri Bhagawan ShyamaCharan’s disciples were pleading Him. To allow them to take His photograph through camera. Because they were all aware of Him as ParaBrahma Bhagawan Adventing with a human body.
So they were thinking if they take His photograph and keep it with them. Bhagawan ShyamaCharan will always be with them.

But Bhagawan ShyamaCharan used to say, if I allow you people to take my photograph you people will stop practicing kriyayog Brahmavidya, and start doing external Bahya pooja. And you guys will slowly will forget this actual worship of Bhagawan through Brahmavidya.

But disciples were ardently praying Him for the photograph. So atlast Bhagawan ShyamaCharan gave them permission to take His photograph with camera.

All the disciples were very happy. They all have selected a very good photographer Gangadhar dey to take the photograph of Bhagawan ShyamaCharan. Gangadhar dey was Yogiraj Shyamacharan’s very good disciple.
So he was very happy to take the photograph of His Bhagawan GuruDeva.
They all have decided certain date, for this unique event of taking Bhagawan’S photograph.
That decided date arrived and Gangadhar dey - the photographer came with his good camera and equipment. Bhagawan Yogiraj shyamacharan came came to him, and started asking questions enthusiastically about all the parts of the camera like a novice asking questions. 🤗✋🏼🙌🏼🥰

All the disciples made him sit on the Asan, and made Him ready for the photograph.

And now Gangadhar dey went to the camera for taking the photo of Bhagawan ShyamaCharan. But to his surprise he could not see Yogiraj, in the camera lenses. Then he thought maybe it is the problem with camera only. But then focused lense on the others standing there, they were all clearly visible in the camera lense. So he thought camera is working properly only, So he focused again on Yogiraj, but again He was not visible in the lense.
Gangadhar dey got confused and again focused on others, but they are visible 😐🙆🏻‍♂️‼️
So now he understood the play of Bhagawan ParaBrahma ShyamaCharan. Yogiraj was laughing naughtily, looking at Gangadhar dey, with twinkling eyes. Gangadhar then pranaming yogiraj pleaded Him, Prabhooo hey Dev !!!! If you wont shower mercy on me and become visible in the lenses... I cannot take your photograph Bhagawan 😔😢🙏🏼
So your devotees’ wish will not get fulfilled Prabhooo, he pleaded Yogiraj with folding hands.

Then Yogiraj laughed loudly.. and said, “ok gangadhar take✋🏼, take the photograph..go on”!!!
Then Gangadhar dey again looked in the camera lense, yes 🤗now Yogiraj was clearly visible in the lense. So he took the photograph immediately.

So this is the photograph now millions of devotees are all having at their homes...!!!

And Bhagawan ShyamaCharan has given magical and wonderful promise to this photograph.
He had declared-
“Who ever consider this photograph as Protective shield, it will work as a protective shield to them. Who ever consider this photo only a photograph, it will remain a photograph to them”

So keeping this photograph itself is a tremendous protection to the devotees.. what a blessing pic this photograph 🙌🏼👏🏼🙏🏼👋🏼☝🏼✋🏼🤚🏼👌🏼😍🥰😇🤗

K In the Eternal scripture Mahabharata ..
Duryodhana who chose Narayan Army lost the battle and was killed...🙌🏼

And Arjuna who chose Narayana in the war to help him, won the battle and  won happiness..🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️

But now all are duryodhanas only..🙌🏼
Choosing, running after all  the Narayan Army -called the countless, endless sensory miseries..!!!!

Thus sorrow only is the end result of these total world filled duryodhanas...🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♂️

🙃😓😟🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️🙌🏼😔

No one is choosing Narayan Bhagawan, the parabrahma Shyamacharan LahiriMahashay kripa filled lives...🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♂️🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♂️😔

A. any of you out there would have noticed the number 108 uniquely associated with Hinduism. Every Deity associated with the pooja has Ashtottaram(108)names associated detailing his/her qualities .Ever wondered why this number 108 was arrived at…?Gear up for an answer. It is a profound yet a simple thing to understand having a universal appeal.

From careful observation of the Hindu calendar we see 27 Stars or the Nakshatras appearing in a cyclic manner starting with Aswini and ending with Revati based on the transit of the earth and the moon in the sky.The 27 Nakshatras cover 13°20’ of the ecliptic each. They are as follows:

  1. Ashwini
  2. Bharani
  3. Kruttika
  4. Rohini
  5. Mrigasira
  6. Aardra
  7. Punarvasu
  8. Pushya
  9. Aashlesha
  10. Magha
  11. Poorva Phalguni
  12. Uttara Phalguni
  13. Hasta
  14. Chitra
  15. Swaati
  16. Vishaakha
  17. Anuraadha
  18. Jyeshtha
  19. Moola
  20. Poorvaashaadha
  21. Uttaraashaadha
  22. Shravana
  23. Dhanishtha
  24. Shatataaraka/Shatabhisha
  25. Poorva Bhaadrapada
  26. Uttara Bhaadrapada
  27. Revati

Each Nakshatra is also divided into Quarters or Paadam(1/4th),each of 3°20’.Now, when a person is born, the Nakshatram(star ) prevailing then is called his/her Janmanakshatram or birth star. There are thus 108(27*4) combinations of the birth star that are possible for any living thing taking birth on this planet earth. Simply put, any living thing on this earth has to bear any of these 108 combinations as its birth star.

Thus, when we chant or praise the lord withAshtottaram we not only praise them for their’ Gounas(characteristics/virtues) but we also ask for well being of all the living things including human beings irrespective of their caste, creed, race ,gender or religion , born in one these 108 combinations. Essentially this encompasses all the 8.4 million species of living things as defined in the Vedas.

Truly universal and divinely human.

Gracias!
