narratives improve social cognition, either by appealing to social-cognitive abilities as we engage with the story world and its characters, or by conveying social knowledge.

Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī speaks to Her beloved Kṛṣṇa
hātaka darapaṇa, māthaka phula, nayanaka añjana mukhaka tāmbūla
hṛdayaka mṛgamada, gīmaka hāra;
dehaka saravasa gehaka sāra, pākhīka pākha, mīnaka pāni
jīvaka jīvana hām tuhuṅ jāni tuhuṅ kaise mādhava koho tuhuṅ moy
vidyāpati koho – duhuṅ dohā hoy
You are the mirror in My hand, the flower in My hair, the eyeliner around My eyes and the betelnuts in My mouth. You are the musk on My bosom, the necklace around My neck and the quintessence of everything for My body! You are for Me what the wing is to the bird and water is to the fish. You are the life of My life. O Mādhava, what are You not to Me? Tell Me what I am to You!
Vidyāpati says: “They are everything to Each other!”
-Pada Kalpataru
For the bee-like devotees expert in relishing the honey trickling from the lotus feet of the Śrī Śrī Rādhā Śyāmasundara, the divine couple who, at once, embarrasses millions of mundane couples in this world, Happy Valentine's Day is the day They meet and if They ever were to separate from each other, it is indeed death.

Time seems enigmatic, but it is not. In yet another answer, I will try to dispel the seemingly mysterious nature of time. The pacing of events exists because of the limited speed of causality, which we call the speed of light.
Photons propagate at the speed of light between their emission site and absorption site. Similarly, all particles of matter are ephemeral, minuscule pockets of energy that propagate for a very short distance at the speed of light between their interactions with the Higgs field quadrillions of times per second. This is why we perceive them as solid and not as fleeting as light. Photons don’t interact with the Higgs field at all. The passage of time happens at the fundamental level because all events within objects propagate at the limited speed of light; in other words, if the rate of propagation of causality or light were unlimited, there would be no passage of time. There would be no duration between events, and everything would happen instantaneously.
This feature of our Universe also creates time dilation. If something moves at some velocity in relation to us, the lengths in which the information about events needs to travel within it increase in relation to us, which causes more significant time dilation. In the same way, near massive objects like black holes, there is a more substantial curvature of spacetime which causes information about events to travel longer distances within objects in relation to us, increasing the time dilation.
Knowledge of the nature of time is crucial for understanding the Universe, the existence, and who we are.
The question was: Why is there time?
Like in the image above, where the curvature of spacetime is shown around objects of various masses, the more massive object, the more substantial curvature of spacetime which causes information about events to travel longer distances within objects in relation to us, increasing the time dilation.
