We will never get this evidence as it is impossible to contact a deceased person to ask them and always will be. We will only find out we are spirits and have survived our physical death when we pass. However if you have had an out of body experience you will prove to yourself you can exist outside your physical body and so will already know that you are not just a body but an immortal spirit.

It can be rather bleak knowing that all things must pass. That is why Man invented God, so they can pin their hopes on eternal life etc.
