In real practical spirituality of a real human being in the real world, there is no difference between Samkhya and Advaita.

Samkhya, despite of its popular interpretations, is non-dualistic while Advaita, despite of its popular interpretations, is not an abstract-nondual-nothingness.

However, in intellectual approach standing on sterile philosophizing, there is an unsurpassable difference between Samkhya and Advaita.

Why? Because both Advaita and Samkhya philosophers ignore the reality of life. They philosophy. For them, both Samkhya and Advaita are about two different principles.

BUT! Both Samkhya and Advaita are not theories, philosophies, or concepts. They are not about principles! They are about the reality of life reflected through the life experience of a spiritually matured human being! Not through the smart, no matter how sophisticated and profound philosophizing.

Without Samkhya – I mean without real life experiential reflection and understanding of its wisdom – one cannot approach the experiential zone of Advaita.

Both Samkhya and Advaita are here for the benefit of humankind. For a living humankind! They are not here for the non-existing humankind vanished in the ocean of Brahma.

It is so easy to philosophy about theoretical concepts being self-assured that such a philosophizing is the reality itself. It is so hard to work on advancement of own observation to stand on experiential approach to the wisdom secured for us in the spiritual heritage of India and other cultures.

There is a reliable litmus paper of the reality of life of humans. Compassion, Responsibility, and Dignity of human life. There is no Z without A…
