TICOS
TO INNER CORE OF SILENCE
##################
Dear all,
what a beautiful question.
Enlightenment is not a state of happiness, love, being one, state of conciousness, meditative state, any kind of samadhi, nirvana, etc.
Enlightenment is not a state.
It is not added quality to experience itself.
It is nothing you can talk about and make definition or concept out of it.
Enlightenment is not state of mind. All states come an go.
But existence is only present, now, now, now.
What we can say about the now? Always only that what is at current moment happening. But do we need to talk or think about it?.
The now does not require mind in the move. In present, mind is still and empty. Live comment of life is gone. Inner dialogue is gone. Because in reality there is no separate entity standing appart of the current experience.
In reality there is only experience itself.
When self is realized the main sign is dissolving of the illusonary identity. When this egoic self is dissolved within the absolute the gap between experience and experiencer is “bridged”. When this gap is gone only life remains.
What we can say about life itself with no illusory identity living that life?
Nothing special. What is that is. No questions, no answers. Pain is pain, joy is joy. How would the question or arguing the present moment would change it?
Living the reality is all that is. Unconditional peace within which life unfolds…
Sure emotions are present, when your kid make first steps, you have tears in your eyes, when your parents die you have tears also. But all that underlied with the unconditional peace. No thoughts about emotions, no drama, no stories, no concepts.
With the lack of insights in living reality people use to make definitions and terms what enlightenment is. Living the reality itself the ability to do that is lost.
SO, I am not talking about enlightenment as the quality of life, as something:)
Reality is “enlightened” also without our effort we just need to give up to achieve it.

The Pali texts clearly state that the Buddha frequently mentioned the gods (Devas) and actually even went to meet the 33 gods of the Vedic pantheon (trayas-trimśat devata) to preach the Dharma to them. So in this sense Buddhism is definitely not “atheistic”.
22. "Now there are eight kinds of assemblies, Ananda, that is to say, assemblies of nobles, brahmans, householders, ascetics, of the Four Great Kings, of the Thirty-three gods, of Maras, and of Brahmas.
23. "And I recall, Ananda, how I have attended each of these eight kinds of assemblies, amounting to hundreds. And before seating myself and starting the conversation or the discussion, I made my appearance resemble theirs, my voice resemble theirs. And so I taught them the Dhamma, and roused, edified, and gladdened them. Yet while I was speaking to them thus, they did not know me, and they would enquire of one another, asking: 'Who is he that speaks to us? Is it a man or a god?'
(Mahabuddhavamsa Chapter 40)
The Buddha denied that Devas had the power to grant liberation to anyone and therefore the emphasis must be on self-liberation. It is a DIY spiritual project.
But human nature being what it is - a Divine Liberator is of great comfort and so there developed streams of devotional buddhism which venerated Bodhisattvas and through devotion to them one could attain rebirth in the heavens of the Boddhisattvas and there strive for Liberation.

Focus on the data. In the book “After" by Dr. Greyson at UVA, he examines thousands of NDE cases. He created iands.org with his colleagues, with thousands of case studies.
He discusses how the brain has filters that prevent access to information. That during an NDE, the idea is the filters are down or off.
Not everyone has them. Mediums who see, hear, experience things outside our perspective have altered filters. Some children dont have them until the age of eight, older people lose them.
But ww can bypass them via hypnotherapy, mediumship or meditation. Ive been filming people doing so for over a decade. See documentaries “flipside” or “Hacking the Afterlife” on Amazon Prime.
Consciousness isnt confined to the brain. The science out of UVA Medical school shows that. Dr. Greyson's “After" Dr Tucker's “Before" with 1500 reincarnation cases, Ed Kelly PhDs “Consciousness Unbound “ with 100s of peer reviewed studies indicating conc
