The new vision, however, shows us that the
most reasonable ToE is a theory in which consciousness and free will have
always existed and in which the universe—that is, One—is open because its
evolution is the evolution of its knowing. The ToE can only tell us the
characteristics of the outer world as symbolic correlations of the inner
world of meaning
