Doesn’t really matter, does it?
The minute you say “an illusion of our mind,“ you are already establishing a Reality. A real “you,” and a real mind experiencing it. How could there be an “our mind” if there wasn’t some Reality precluding it?
You can find plenty of scientific evidence that there is nothing but empty space between atoms and even atoms are 98% emptiness/nothingness. And all atoms/energy are in a constant state of flux & change. So how could we characterize any of this as ‘Reality?’ What could we point to as being solid & permanent and therefore having ‘Reality?’
Or you can study spiritual scriptures that confirm this is merely Nothing appearing as Everything, just a projection, like a movie. Are the movie characters on the blank white screen ‘real?’ Were the characters walking around your dream last night ‘real?’
But unless you “get” this at a very deep level, intellectually (very rare,) or the false “you-self” actually collapses, leaving just What Is (extremely rare,) this will just be an academic exercise, and “you” will continue to interact with the world as if it is “your” reality.

The way things appear is not always an accurate reflection of the way things really are. We unwittingly project the qualities of stability and permanence onto a reality that is constantly in flux.
