BG12. Bhakti Yog

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 is called “Bhakti Yoga” – The Yoga of Devotion.

In this chapter, Arjuna asks Krishna whether worshiping a formless, unmanifest God or a personal deity is better. Krishna responds that devotion to Him in a personal form is easier for most people. However, He also acknowledges that those who worship the formless Brahman with sincerity can also attain liberation.

Krishna then describes the qualities of an ideal devotee (Bhakta), emphasizing love, humility, patience, and surrender.
