GRS

This passage says that “a stable mind is like a library.”

Main idea:

A library may contain millions of books. The librarian has access to all of them, but does not need to have every book memorized. Instead, they know where things are and can find the right book when needed.

In the same way:

  • Human consciousness can contain vast knowledge.
  • It is not necessary—or even possible—to know everything at all times in our limited physical existence.
  • When the mind is calm, stable, and free from craving or hatred, you can access the knowledge you need at the right moment.

In simple terms:
Wisdom is not about remembering everything. It is about having a clear, steady mind so the right understanding becomes available when you need it.
