Every soul naturally seeks happiness, but material pleasures are temporary, limited, and eventually become stale. That is why no worldly achievement or possession can completely satisfy the heart.
Swamiji explains that the soul seeks Sat-Chit-Anand: bliss that is eternal, ever-fresh, and infinite. Since God alone possesses these qualities, lasting fulfillment is possible only when the soul connects with Him through loving devotion.
