There are almost no reported cases of anaphylaxis, angioedema, or cutaneous allergy due to haloperidol. Severe allergic reactions to haloperidol are either nonexistent or extraordinarily rare. A patient who develops dyspnea and stridor following haloperidol is probably experiencing laryngeal dystonia.
