It’s not necessary to find foods that meet all of these seven characteristics, but you’ll need to create meals which do. In other words, when preparing any meal, be sure to select foods that meet the following criteria:
1. Taste—sweet, salty, fatty, sour, spicy?
2. Texture—crunchy, creamy, chewy, gooey, fizzy?
3. Temperature—good hot or good cold?
4. Aroma—pleasing aroma?
5. Satiety—cause abdominal distention, make you feel full? 6. Sensation—require chewing, pleasant to swallow?
7. Social setting—consumed in pleasant and relaxing circumstances?
