“If consciousness is truly fundamental, why does it manifest in distinct selves rather than remaining an undifferentiated whole? The self cannot be an illusion—rather, it is the highest expression of consciousness itself. Instead of seeking to dissolve into unity, consciousness should strive to grow, create, and shape reality. Reality, then, is not a static manifestation of a pre-existing oneness—it is an open, evolving process. Just as a seed does not ‘realize’ it is a tree but must grow into one, so too must consciousness evolve through struggle, love, and action. True fulfillment is not in mere recognition of unity but in the dynamic participation in creation itself. A consciousness that merely seeks to merge into the whole is incomplete. The greatest act of consciousness is not self-annihilation but self-actualization—becoming a co-creator rather than a passive observer. The self is not meant to disappear; it is meant to strengthen, engage, and shape its own destiny. If the universe is truly conscious, then its purpose must not be self-erasure, but the continual expansion of creative and moral agency.”

Once you view spacetime as an emergent property of the known quantum fields, you can suddenly explain so much of the strange quantum weirdness. (superposition etc.) I see he speaks on consciousness, but even other physics is explained this way too. Amazing realization.

A Course in Miracles talks about the the self and the Self. The self is the Egoic false self. And the Self is the higher Self part of God that is and ever shall be and One.

David Bohm's "Implicate Order", where the Implicate is borderless in contrary to the Explicate, the realm of distinctions.
