BHAGYA PLUS CHESHTA = PHAL

 A

I respectfully disagree with Swami Medhananda, he has not understood what Swami Sarvapriyananda is saying. How different is Swami Medhananda's philosophy from Vishitadvaita or Sankhya? In Advaita what is real has been defined as "Trikala Abhaditam Satyam" (Swami Sarvapriyananda explained beautifully in his lectures on Mundaka Upanishad), that which is same all the time and cannot be negated. So by that definition, maya and its products are constantly changing. Body is formed and dies, Universe rises and falls. That is not real. Before Swami Medhananda can even start talking of his philosophy he has to come up with his definition of "real" for his philosophy, because the definition of real as per Advaita will not work in his model. Now the statement that only if you cut your hand and do not feel pain then only you can practice Advaita is the most absurd statement I have ever heard. It is like saying only if you do not see the sun rise and sun set can you say that earth goes around the Sun, only if you do not see the blue sky can you claim that the sky is not blue. Advaita is very subtle you can not approach it with an axe.
