“Ganpati Bappa Morya” is a popular chant in devotion to Lord Ganesha, especially in Maharashtra and during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

“Ganpati Bappa” means “Lord Ganesha, our revered father.”

“Morya” is believed to have two possible meanings:

1. It refers to Morya Gosavi, a great devotee of Ganesha from the 14th-15th century, whose devotion popularized this chant.

2. It is also said to be a plea meaning “Come soon again” or “Bless us again.”

The phrase expresses love, reverence, and a call for Lord Ganesha’s blessings.
