दोहा | Doha
श्रीहरि वंदन करउँ, गुरु चरणन सिर नाय।
I bow to Lord Hari and place my head at my Guru’s feet.
गीता ज्ञान विशुद्ध को, करुं हृदय में ठाय॥

चौपाइयाँ | Verses
- जय गीता माँ, जय जगजननी।
Glory to Mother Gita, Mother of the world.
ब्रह्मविवेकदायिनी भगवानी॥
Giver of divine wisdom and realization. - अर्जुन हित हित उपदेसा कीन्हा।
For Arjuna’s good, the Lord gave teachings.
मोह मिटायँ सत्य रस पीन्हा॥
Removing his delusion, filling him with truth. - कर्मयोग का ज्ञान सुनायो।
He taught the path of Karma Yoga.
फल की आस न हृदय बसायो॥
Do your duty without desire for results. - समता भाव सिखायो न्यारा।
He taught the special state of equanimity.
जग में रहि कर कर्म तुम्हारा॥
Live in the world yet act without attachment. - आत्मा अजर-अमर बताई।
He said the soul is eternal and undecaying.
देह बदलती जैसे काई॥
Only the body changes, like clothes. - जीव निरंतर कर्म करै सो।
Beings constantly act in the world.
भाग्य बुनै निज पुरुषार्थो॥
Destiny is shaped by one’s own effort. - योग-ध्यान की महिमा गाई।
He praised the greatness of Yoga and meditation.
मन को वश कर साध बनाई॥
Control the mind and purify it. - ज्ञानयोग की दीन्हि बखानी।

ब्रह्मस्वरूप कह्यो भगवानी॥

साधक रहे सदा सजग संत॥
Seekers must stay ever alert. - प्रकृति पुरुष भेद बतायो।
He explained the difference between Nature and Spirit.
त्रिगुण बंधन सूक्ष्म सुनायो॥
And the subtle bondage of the three gunas. - सत्व-रज-तम तीन प्रकासा।
Sattva, Rajas, Tamas—three qualities shine.
जीव करै इनसे विलासा॥
Beings act according to these gunas. - साधन भक्ति निरूपित कीन्ही।
He described the path of devotion.
श्रवण-कीर्तन महिमा दीन्ही॥
Praising hearing and chanting the Lord’s name. - निष्काम भक्ति अमोघ मानी।
Desireless devotion is supreme.
मोक्षदायिनी सुन्दर ग्यानी॥

इनके अर्थ सुगम समझाये॥
Clarifying their deeper meanings. - आस्थावान को फलता साधन।

संशयवाला रहै न बंधन॥
But the doubtful remains bound. - अहंकार का त्याग बतायो।
He taught letting go of ego.
विनम्रता का मार्ग सुखायो॥
And walking the path of humility. - ब्रह्मचर्य, दया, उपवास।
Discipline, compassion, and restraint.
यह साधक के उत्तम निवास॥
Are the dwelling places of sincere seekers. - लोभ-मोह मद क्रोध बधाये।
Greed, attachment, pride, and anger bind.
गीता माता दूर हटाये॥
Mother Gita removes these bonds. - मन को जीत परम सुख पावो।
Conquer the mind to attain true joy.
हरि चरणन में ध्यान लगावो॥
Fix your mind on the divine feet of the Lord. - सर्वभूत हितकारी बनिये।
Work for the welfare of all beings.
सेवा करि हरि चरण रमनिये॥
Serve and delight in remembrance of God. - ईश्वर अंश सभी पुरुषो में।
God resides in every being.
देखो ब्रह्म समान सदा सो में॥
See all as equal and divine. - भक्त-वत्सल भगवान कहलाये।
The Lord is ever-loving to His devotees.
श्रद्धा-भक्ति पुरस्कृत पाये॥
Deep faith brings divine reward. - ध्यान एकमात्र मारग सुहावो।
Meditation is the beautiful path.
अंतर्मन में जग जगावो॥
It awakens inner light. - विश्वरूप जब कृष्ण दिखायो।
When Krishna showed His cosmic form.
अर्जुन चकित हृदय चुरायो॥
Arjuna was amazed and overwhelmed. - रूप विराट अलौकिक देखा।
He saw the vast, divine form.
सकल चराचर एक ही रेखा॥
All creation united in Him. - भय-भक्ति मिश्रित रस छाया।
Fear and devotion filled the air.
प्रेम अनंत हृदय भर आया॥
Infinite love flooded the heart. - अर्जुन की अर्जित शंका हरि लीन्ही।

साधन-मार्ग सरल बनायो॥

शरण पड़त मिटे दुख-छाला॥
All sorrows vanish in Your refuge. - जन्म-मरण चक्र से उरझे।

गीता माता पथ पर सजगे॥

मन हो जाता परम विशाल॥
