DTR CRSS X RELUCTANT INERTIA FTL SYNDROME

Anybody else just have no real career dreams or aspirations?

Like many of you, I had a really strict upbringing. All focus on grades, I wasn't really allowed to pick my own extracurriculars in high school. Having any interests of my own was highly discouraged. (One time in middle school I expressed interest in learning about psychology and my dad got very angry and asked me where I got these ideas from). My whole life, I was constantly berated for every little thing I did wrong.
So, probably age 13 and onwards, my only dream was to be free from my parents. When I was younger, this manifested as a deep love of fantasy novels and tv shows. But as I outgrew this stage, I had no real interest in anything.
There were only two college majors my parents would allow. (God, the torture that was the college application process could be its own post.) Both stem majors that I wasn't super interested in. (If I chose my own major, I would most likely have chosen a stem major as well, but a very different one.) So I picked one of the majors. I'm not very good at it nor am I very happy. But it has great job prospects and it's easy to get summer jobs and internships in it, so I can save money, get job experience, and not have to stay with my parents over the summer.
But other than be free from my parents and financially stable and comfortable, I have no ambition, dreams, interests, or career goals. I'm just sort of floating. I guess I hope I'm mentally healthy and happily married some day? That's it.
Is anybody else in the same boat? No real interests, dreams, or goals, just floating towards the finish line.
