TM WALK X DEMENTIA REDUCED

High levels of each type of activity reduced dementia risk by around half.
Staying mentally active in middle age could reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease by 46 percent, research finds.
Some of the most common activities to keep mentally active are reading and writing, going to concerts, gardening and singing.
Keeping physically active reduces the risk of dementia by 52 percent, the study also found.
Typical physical activities include gardening, walking, biking and bowling — usually done for at least four hours a week.
