ombrophobia: fear of rain

 A

Here is the summarized table:

Question Answer
Who sees? It is not the waker (body-mind) that sees; seeing occurs beyond the body-mind, at the level of pure knowing.
What is direct seeing? Direct seeing is the realization of reality beyond the illusion of being a "waker" in the waking world.
Is the seeing of the 'I' direct seeing? Yes, but it is not the direct seeing of the 'Self.' It is the recognition of how the 'I' arises and dissolves.
What is the nature of seeing/knowing? It is the space of knowingness that observes all arising and dissolving phenomena. This space surrounds and transcends all experiences.
What happens when there is nothing to see/know? Without anything arising to validate its existence, the ‘I’ begins to dissolve and melt away, leading to its collapse.
What is the significance of the collapse of the 'I'? It marks a key spiritual milestone—recognizing the ‘I’ dissolving into the beyond and understanding that it also emerges from that space.
Guidance for seekers Observe both the arising and dissolving of the ‘I.’ Recognizing both will strengthen your conviction in your seeing. Keep going on your spiritual journey!

Who sees?

Question:

Who sees? What is direct seeing? Is seeing of the ‘I’ a direct seeing? Is that the Self?

Answer:

It is direct seeing but not direct seeing of the ‘Self’ dear. Let me explain seeing from the beginning for the benefit of all.

The waker cannot see. When the wakers body arising is, the arising of sight is not. When the arising of sight is the wakers body is not. Seeing at a level beyond the body-mind means knowing.

If it is not the waker seeing/knowing then who is seeing/knowing?

What is direct seeing?

Direct Seeing means a direct realization of an aspect of reality that was being masked by the belief of being a waker in the waking world.

Who sees the reality? The body arising is seen. The sight wave is seen.

That in which both arose and dissolved back, that is knowing / seeing.

That space of knowingness knows that which arises and dissolves. That space is all around the arising. The arising is surrounded by it.

That sees! That says ‘I see’; that which sees also arrives at a point where there is nothing to see/know.

When there is no arising at all to validate its existence, it becomes uncomfortable.

When there is no arising remaining to validate its ‘sense of existing’, it begins to melt away. It begins to dissipate.

The merging of the ‘I’ into the beyond is known/seen by the beyond.

That is known as a space trying to merge within itself. That is a wonderful milestone!
You have recognized the collapse of the ‘I’.

Now attempt to recognize that it emerges out of that collapsed space too. That seeing of the emergence will build your conviction in your own seeing!

Keep chugging! I am right by your side!
