A BRAHMAN X MAYA - IGNORANCE X ERROR X KRSNA LOOKING OUT THR EVERYONE'S EYES

we all need reminders as ego seems to feed itself back into power as we function in the relative, and, it seems impossible to live fully from the non dual perspective because of this, I do feel a noticeable swing from judgement to compassion as "this" deepens though.

but it isn't God (making a mistake), as you asked. Let us start with the idea that there is God, Creator, and His creation (gift of life), who function as One. It's all non-physical, unalterable, in timelessness. As His creation, His extension of life, the error we think we are perceiving as this world never could have occurred because there is only truth (Sat-Chit-Ananda). Maya is illusion only -- misperceiving. So we are not trapped in maya. The thought of Maya was healed in the instant it was a perceived thought apart from God's Will. In this world we perceive ourselves as separate minds and bodies in time. But we need to choose to release that illusory perception -- God will not erase it for us because we have the power to do it. God gave His answer to His creation simultaneously, in the instant His creation imagined a thought apart from His thought, so it was never done. We, as His creation, were perfectly protected. The remembrance of our truth was placed in our minds (where the "sickness" was imagined). The error only seems to have occurred in a "dream" of thought that was apart from the Will of God. God never created us as individuals in separate bodies with separate minds, forced to suffer in a world of fear, guilt, and death. We need to realize that there is nothing in this world (this belief system) that we value and let it go. Whatever is not shared with God is an illusion. When we say that we "forgot" God, or that we need to "forgive" ourselves our illusions, we are using words to speak about illusions. But in truth, there is no error, no need to forgive ourselves our illusions, no illusions (maya). Being at one with God implies that nothing but truth exists (Sat-Chit-Ananda/Existence-Consciousness-Bliss). God's creation, His extension of Himself, is one with Him and can never separate.

Alan Watts had a great one where he said that God is playing hide and seek. This is traditionally known as lila, the play of God. Maybe more technically, Brahman is the unlimited and therefore cannot be trapped in any way. The question arises in the human mind because of Maya. If we saw everything as it is we would see that nothing is trapped. On this side of enlightenment there is the question, on the other side of enlightenment there is no question. Of course this probably raises more questions about what is Maya, but the thing to remember is that Maya is error, it cannot be completely explained because it is an illusion. If it were real, then we would have a duality. The fact that it is not real proves nonduality.

A“Whatever is not shared with God is an illusion”.
AI like Alan Watts’ playful answer. He had a good sense of humour! But sometimes this lila (or leela) seems more like samsara..
