In terms of consciousness, we are the dumb terminals and God is the mainframe.

consciousness IS IN-FORMED. it is INFORMATION. Everything is Code, and all CODE is information, and this is why Consciousness is experienced as EVERYTHING. We are AWARE of this INFORMED FIELD, This field of INFORMATION. We are selves are made up of this information, we are CONSCIOUSNESS appearing as INFORMED Fields.

In Babylon 5 J. Michael Straczynski had the Minbari, who believed that all beings were helping the Cosmic consciousness evolve. Piaget said that consciousness in a child evolves in a similar way to how their body developed in the womb, from the single cell, to the sea creature with gills, to the operational human being, ready to be born. Mind developed in that same way, from being alive, to discovering self, to discerning other, to basic concepts, to more abstract concepts, to sophisticated critical thinking. When Christians said God said Let there be light, I ask How long was God in the dark before he turned on the lights? Science said, after the Big Bang, and inflation, there was no light, because the atoms (or we call them quanta, now) were not distributed widely enough to bounce off each other. Because light can only be seen when it reflects off something, (there's a science project for kids where they construct a shoe box with a paper towel tube leading into one end, and a seeing port on the side. When you shine a flashlight into the paper tube, you can't see any light in the box. Until you blow smoke into the box. Then the light becomes visible). So scientists say it took billions of years for light to appear in the universe. If you believe that all things are God and God is all things, then god existed for billions of years before it became self aware. but once it was self aware, as it is all, there was no other, and as Dr.Campbell said, the monolith cannot learn. So God compartmentalized itself in order to experience and grow its consciousness. Well, when would you be satisfied with the growth of your own consciousness? Perhaps you were once, and went the I'm Done route. Until you realized entropy was setting in. Then you rededicated yourself to evolving, and there is no end to evolving. If there is only one intelligent species in each galaxy, there are still trillions of intelligent species in the universe, and if a collective mind of ten billion human beings is a force to reckon with, imagine a collective mind of ten trillion galaxies. That would be the mind of God.

Yes 🌿 — Tom Campbell (physicist and author of My Big TOE: Theory of Everything) developed a practical system of meditation that aligns with his model of consciousness as a larger information system.

Unlike traditional religious or ritual-based approaches, his meditation method is stripped down, focused on quieting the mind, accessing data streams, and evolving consciousness toward lower entropy (love, clarity, compassion).

🧘 Tom Campbell’s System of Meditation

1. Goal of Meditation

  • Not to “escape,” but to reduce noise in consciousness.

  • By lowering internal chatter, one can:

    • Experience altered states of awareness.

    • Access intuitive knowledge (“data streams” from the Larger Consciousness System).

    • Heal oneself/others.

    • Explore nonphysical reality (OBEs, remote viewing).

2. Core Practice (How to Meditate)

Campbell’s instructions are intentionally simple:

  1. Find a Quiet Space

    • Sit or lie comfortably.

    • Close eyes, relax body.

  2. Focus of Attention

    • Choose a simple mental object (e.g., your breath, a mantra, or even just “nothing”).

    • When thoughts arise, let them go and return to focus.

  3. Dissolve Expectations

    • Don’t try to force mystical experiences.

    • Let awareness “settle” into stillness.

  4. Accessing Intent

    • Once the mind is quiet, use focused intent (Campbell calls this “directing data”).

    • Examples:

      • Healing intent (visualize sending health).

      • Remote perception (request information from the system).

      • Exploring alternate realities or probable futures.

3. Techniques for Quieting the Mind

  • Mantra repetition — a sound or word (but not religiously loaded).

  • Breath awareness — counting breaths until thoughts slow.

  • Blank screen visualization — imagine a black void, let it “clear.”

4. Beyond Meditation: Consciousness Exploration

Once stability is achieved, Campbell suggests “querying the Larger Consciousness System” (LCS):

  • Ask questions, request experiences.

  • Stay skeptical but open.

  • Record results and compare against verifiable outcomes.

5. Purpose & Philosophy

  • Meditation is not escape but consciousness evolution.

  • Measure progress not by exotic visions but by personal growth:

    • Are you less fearful?

    • More loving?

    • Less ego-driven?

📌 Signature Quotes (from Tom Campbell on Meditation)

  • “Meditation is just a tool. The point is to lower the noise in your consciousness so you can clearly interact with the larger system.”

  • “Don’t chase experiences. If you get data, great. If you don’t, also great. The growth comes in being, not in fireworks.”

  • “Your intent is your power. Once your mind is quiet, intent can change reality.”

Summary:
Tom Campbell’s meditation system = Simple quieting + Focused intent + Exploration → used for healing, accessing information, and evolving toward love/low entropy.

Would you like me to map this into a step-by-step daily practice guide (like a 20–30 min routine you could follow, Campbell-style), so it’s practical and easy to try?
