STROKE X TEA COFFEE

 A

Drinking tea daily has been linked to a reduced risk of stroke, particularly ischemic stroke. A meta-analysis of 14 prospective cohort studies found that increasing tea consumption by three cups per day was associated with a 13% decrease in total stroke risk and a 24% decrease in ischemic stroke risk .(PubMed Central)

Both green and black teas have shown protective effects. For instance, consuming three cups of tea daily was associated with a 21% reduction in stroke risk, regardless of the type of tea . Additionally, the flavan-3-ols found in tea may contribute to cardiovascular benefits by reducing blood pressure .(UCLA Health, Food & Wine)

Moderate coffee consumption may also offer protective effects. Drinking two to three cups of coffee daily has been associated with a lower risk of stroke . However, high coffee intake (four or more cups per day) may increase stroke risk .(The Irish Sun, PubMed)

In contrast, high consumption of carbonated beverages has been linked to an increased risk of stroke .

In summary, incorporating moderate amounts of tea and coffee into your daily routine may help lower your risk of stroke, while excessive consumption of certain beverages like sugary sodas could have the opposite effect.
